this is the resistor used for the BST cable to help get rid of the Passenger restraint error. This resistor is already attached to a OEM plug, so no need to cut your current cable simply unplug and plug this one in. DISCLAIMER: i have only tested this in the e60/e63/e65 bmw. this is for diagnostic purpose only, this is not a permanent fix, this is just a easy cheap way to see if it is the BST cable that is causing the error. purchase and install at own risk. airbag light must be cleared with a scanner that can clear SRS lights, this will not clear on it own by simply plugging it in.
