This cable is just like the bluetooth adapter, except this allows you to keep your current plug in aux. if you currently have aux and want to keep the aux jack, but want to ADD bluetooth audio streaming, this is the adapter youll need. unplug your current aux, connect to adapter and then plug the adapter to the module.
